Doug Lockyer, the branch manager for Northampton, will embark on the 50-kilometer Jurassic Coast Challenge over just two days in May to raise money for the charity Young Lives Vs Cancer.
He is raising money in the hopes that it will assist Lottie and her family. Lottie is a young girl who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour at the age of six. She is the child of a close friend of Doug’s who gave up his job as a groundworker to become a carer and transport his daughter between home and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Doug is aiming to reach his fundraising target of £600.
After joining Altrad Generation, Doug has managed the Northampton branch for 20 years. During that time, the branch has had substantial growth and development.
