Key partners treated to match day hospitality: Northampton Saints vs Montpellier

| Company News

Saturday 15th October saw the Northampton Saints vs Montpellier for the European Rugby Champions Cup. The Saints had a difficult game ahead of them at Franklin Gardens against the Top 14 French team.

Montpellier, who won the second-tier Challenge Cup last season and are second in the Top 14 this season, vowed to make the most of their return to Europe’s top table after a two-year absence.

After a fantastic game, Stephen Myler’s injury-time penalty snatched victory for Northampton against French high-fliers Montpellier in a hard-fought Champions Cup opener.

Fortunately for the Saints, they took away a 16-14 result and Generation and partners were lucky enough to celebrate with members of both teams in the Northampton Saints hospitality suite.

During the evening, photographs were taken with Montpellier legends Nemani Nadolo and Akapusi Qera and guests took home a signed Montpellier rugby ball each. Generation also ran a ‘Guess the points’ competition where Getyhn Mills of Shadow Scaffolding won a signed and framed Montpellier Rugby shirt. The shirt was kindly given to 10 year old Callum Thomas, son of Chris Thomas (Carlton Ceilings & Partitions Ltd), a rugby fanatic who is hoping to become a household name in the rugby world one day. The atmosphere was fantastic and Generation UK would like to say a big thank you to all who attended and made it a memorable experience.
