New Super Site in Manchester Opens

| Branch | Company News

Generation is moving to a new branch to serve Manchester and the North West.  It has been purpose built and the nearly 3-acre site has had over 8,000sq metres of new concrete laid in preparation for the move along with New offices, the team is preparing for the transition during May.

The new Altrad Generation Manchester site replaces the previous Stockport branch which they had called home for nearly 30 years. Only being 10 mins from the old location it won’t be far for customers to come for the new experience.

It continues Altrad Generation’s investment in its branch network, following the March relocation of its Newcastle North East super site.  The Manchester and Newcastle sites are part of a United Kingdom wide branch network dedicated to the supply of scaffolding, access, temporary fencing and groundworks.

The strengthened Manchester and Northern branch network will deliver improved logistics and customer service.

The branch will be fully operational from JuneFull contact details can be found here:

Lee McCarthy the Altrad Generation Branch Manager said of the move:

“The move from Stockport to our new Manchester branch is a game changer for our customers.  The new space is purpose designed allowing far greater operational efficiency, ensuring just in time availability, and reducing servicing time for customers.  It also enables us to pass on cost savings to ensure we consistently offer the best value for money.”

Mark Clifford, Managing Director of Generation said:

“The investment is part of an ongoing programme to improve the capability of our branch network.  The new Manchester and Newcastle branches represent a huge improvement in our logistical and service capability.  It continues our aim and commitment to be the best UK supplier of scaffolding, access, temporary fencing, edge protection and groundworks for Hire and Sale.”
