Generation Cardiff were approached by their client, who hold a long-standing company account, to provide a quick and easy assembling scaffold system to be used to repair power lines crossing over roads. Generation Hire & Sale knew that to meet the client’s specifications of a quick and easy assembling solution they needed to use the Altrad Futuro system Scaffold; with being up to 300% faster and safer to erect and dismantle compared to normal tube and fitting, Futuro was the obvious choice.
The work was carried out over a 50-mile stretch, running alongside the A465 between Abergavenny and Neath. So far a total of 422 tonnes of Futuro has been delivered to the site and this number is still growing. A total of 46 deliveries have been made, 1 delivery every day for 46 days! Generation Cardiff’s dedicated fleet of trucks and impressive 3-acre site meant they were ideally located to service a very demanding contract and were able to deliver the stock in a timely manner from their vast stock holding.
