The Worthing Borough Council has provided the funding for a new Worthing Integrated Care Centre, a multi-million-pound investment into their community. This brings the most cutting-edge facilities possible to the south coast town, adding additional GP offices, Mental Health Services, Community Care and a pharmacy.
Due to the nature of this challenge, the contractor turned to Altrad Generation to help provide a solution that would meet the requirements for safe working. Utilising the design capabilities from Combisafe support providing the designs within 72 hours.
It will be a 4-story RC frame building, with a cross-laminated timber roof. This means there was a challenge from the contractor to provide safe working conditions whilst construction workers are at the height of the building.
